It is one of the main touristic sites of Shiroishi City. The current keep is entirely made of wood and is a faithful reconstitution of the original keep of the Edo period. In winter, the oxidized silver tiles and the color of natural wood harmonize superbly with the white of the snow and the plaster and create a beautiful painting.
